We are pleased to announce that Evansville native Walter McCarty will be joining the Tri-State Hot Stove League for the 2012 Night of Memories. McCarty was a standout at the University of Kentucky, helping to lead the Wildcats to the 1996 National Championship. He was a first round NBA draft pick and played 8 of his 10 seasons for the Boston Celtics. After his playing career Walter joined his former coach, Rick Pitino, as an assistant at the University of Louisville.
